Ylivieskan nuorisopalvelut on mukana Euroopan solidaarisuusjoukkojen tarjoamassa kansainvälisessä vapaaehtoistoiminnassa. Lähes vuosittain nuorisopalveluilla työskentelee kaksi vapaaehtoista nuorta eri Euroopan maista.
Nämä vapaaehtoiset työskentelevät nuorisotalo Holvin avoimissa ovissa ja esimerkiksi suunnittelevat englanninkielistä toimintaa nuorille, hengailevat nuorten kanssa ja opettavat nuorille eri kulttuurien tapoja ja ruokia.
Vapaaehtoisilla on oma Instagram käyttäjä, johon he päivittelevät omaa arkeaan Suomessa. Voit seurata heitä @volunteers_ylivieska

Hei!
We’re the current volunteers here at Holvi – Inga (19, from Germany) and Emeline (25, from France).
We decided to volunteer because we wanted to discover a new country and culture, and because we really enjoy working with children and teenagers.
We found this opportunity through the ESC (European Solidarity Corps) – a program by the EU that gives young people the chance to explore new places, gain new experiences, and learn new things!
